A simple and realistic
formula is proposed in this work for describing non-linear bending of beams of
different cross sections (rectangular, circular, I, C, etc.) of metal materials
that behave in accordance with Hollomon's law. To illustrate the procedure used,
numerical examples applied to the different study geometries are detailed.
