The current competitive scenario, characterised by the globalisation of markets and businesses, makes it more essential than ever to commit to stable differentiating strategies, among which technology plays a leading role. As part of this commitment, Companies seek allies and collaborators to support their technology development strategy, but cooperation is not always simple. This article addresses the bibliographic review of the key aspects and factors whose appearance or absence determines the success of the collaborations, and a panel of six dimensions is established that it recommends are considered in a collaboration model between a Technology Centre and a Company.
Finally, the article includes the conceptual design established for this collaboration model, which has been reviewed and validated by a panel of experts in the field.
