The article includes the development of technologies in the manufacturing and machine-tool area and, especially, in turning and milling/boring processes, with which great precision is achieved in a wide margin of operating conditions. The objective is to cover the high demands of the aeronautical sector and, particularly, those of the manufacturers of engine parts and structural elements of the fuselage and landing gear.
