Towards zero-defect manufacturing

In clear synergy with non-destructive inspection  areas, the aim is to apply a new process design and planning paradigm based on simulation tools that minimise the probability of the appearance of defects. Furthermore, it will allow critical areas of the component to be predicted for optimal planning of the corresponding inspection processes, with a particular focus on the optimisation of the casting process of high value components in short production runs.

This will be one of the working area into ENDAC projects with the objective to increase in speed in the early detection of potential defects.
