The company and the technology center have signed a five-year agreement to enhance research, technology transfer and collaborating training.
The formalization of the agreement took place at the Aeronautics Avances Manufacturing Center (CFAA) in Zamudio (Bizkaia), a key partner fot both entities.
ITP Aero, a leading global company in aerospace propulsion, and the technology center specialized in manufacturing technologies IDEKO have signed an agreement to boost innovation, knowledge transfer, and training in the aerospace sector over the next five years.
The collaboration aims to generate applied knowledge and develop key technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, transforming them into practical solutions that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of ITP Aero’s products and services, contributing to the advancement of the aerospace industry.
The agreement was signed at the AIMS (Artificial Intelligent Manufacturing for Sustainability) space, a key partner for both entities, located in the Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center (CFAA), a venue that highlights the commitment of both entities to advancing research, development, and sustainability in the aerospace industry.
Over 15 years of collaboration
The agreement marks a significant milestone in the 15+ years of collaboration
between ITP Aero and IDEKO in technological areas such as machining processes,
machine dynamics, robotics, and digitalization. "Trust between teams has grown over the years, and this agreement formalizes
our position as ITP Aero’s strategic R&D ally," emphasized Rafa Lizarralde,
General Manager of the BRTA alliance member technology center.
This new collaborative framework will cover not only knowledge generation but also talent acquisition and development, featuring a training program for both entities to enable professionals to join ITP Aero and IDEKO.
