Invited to present a paper at the MANUFUTURE 2011 conference

IK4-Ideko invited to present a paper at the MANUFUTURE 2011 conference (Wroclaw, 24 and 25 October 2011, 2011)

In the framework of the annual conference of the European Technology Platform MANUFUTURE, held in the Polish city Wroclaw this year and coinciding with the Polish presidency of the European Union, the Director of International Projects at IK4-Ideko, Joseba Perez Bilbatua, has been invited by the Commission to participate in this event with a presentation of some of the successful projects coordinated by Ideko-IK4 in several Framework Programs of the European Commission.

The project ASPIRATE has been chosen to be presented, which was coordinated by IK4-Ideko in the period 2009 to 2011 and concerns "an innovative machining technology of composite material (carbon fibre composite) in a clean, safe and efficient manner. The presentation will also focus on collaboration models between SMEs and research centres, as well as strategies to promote research and innovation in advanced manufacturing, the role of SMEs in transforming European economies and developing new products and services in the manufacturing industry in Europe.
