IK4 holds the fifth meeting of its Strategic Committee

The Alhóndiga Centre in Bilbao was the venue for the fifth meeting of IK4's Strategic Committee, a consultative organ set up over two years ago and made up of a selection of important figures in Basque society. Representing the main companies, institutions, universities and scientific and technological players, they collaborate in IK4’s strategic reflection and help the Alliance to be better prepared to tackle the future.

The Strategic Committee has specified six spheres of action towards which it will be gearing its strategic reflection, which is underpinned by its new Strategic Plan 2013-2016. These six spheres are the globalisation of the knowledge market, specialisation, the effectiveness of the systems for innovation, communication with companies and with society, the importance of people and the commitment to a model of governance at the service of a strategic vision: to champion Basque industry as the driving force of our economy on the new global scenario.
